H2Oasis Playground_ Attawit Sotyom

Different approaches to the playground

I try to to create different patterns : solid and fenestrated patterns in order to provide various activities.
Interior space : The highlight is the slider in the middle of the playground, where people from above after experiencing other challenging activities on the upper level, can slide along this element down to the lower area.

  1. Comment on your Keyterm:

you have to find a keyterm that is more specific. Biomimicry won't help you because it is not focusing your mind and eye to specific phenomena.
Please find another keyterm and send it to me today.

    Commenting on your design:
I am sorry to say, but your design is way out of scale, that is: it is to big. It has the same size as Sharoun's Philharmonie!

You need to design smaller elements/cells/components. You can use one technique for their respective design, but they should be (slightly) different.
What you do is: You start designing cells that are approx 1-2 people in size (diameter height etc).
Design a couple of them using your favorite techniques from the genealogy.

    Analyze them!
Start a new sheet of the genealogy and compare them.

Through this process you will be able to find qualities you want and other qualities that are not favorable for this specific design.

So now you will be able to design the next couple of cells in a more controlled way.

Put them in another genealogy and present them on Wednesday in the order I sent you in my last e-mail.
