Maya Utsunomiya_After Midterm

According to the review from the midterm, I have been trying to have more of an unified manglobe-like structure. I imagine the support part should be more intricate and the cell part should have more details as a playful object.

  1. Thank you for posting
    Very good work,
just a couple of finalizing comments:
first I think you should have more of this elements (probably they are smaller and the extrusions are thinner but more in number)
(but if this is to much work for you for 3D printing you might just print the two elemnts)
as it is now I like the surface articulations in the upper render better because as there are just two cells it clarifies their affiliation. But if you can manage to cretae more cells their surface articulations might start to develop too.
As you already have stated yourself , the points where your structures meet the existing conditions have to be designed very carefully
    To all students:
Before we start preparing for 3D printing we have to figure out about the size of the site model (we should have one site model for the whole studio) either in scale 1:100 or 1:50
So all of you should go tomorrow (Monday) to the 3D print studio with the most recent design and ask which size is better suited for printing in relation to the costs of the models.
According to that information you should adjust the design of your projects for printing.
